The Warren Forest, Caerphilly

Main Sighting: Common Crossbill
Appreciate it is just outside of the GOS area, but group of around 12 crossbills showing well and flying back and forth from the Norway Spruce and European Larch crops.

A common scorer arrived from up channel giving close views + a party of very close Manx shearwater heading d/c. Also a restart and light passage of sand martins and swifts

24 Black-tailed Godwits 1 Greylag 8 Shelduck 7 Ringed Plover 4 Common Sandpiper 68 Dunlin 5 Juv BHGull on Seawall lagoon ... Lagoon 2 42 Dunlin approx 60 Sand martin 4 Ringed Plover 7 Lapwing 2 Curlew and a family of Pied Wag. 5 Juvs.1 Buzzard and a very distant Falcon ( prob Ketsrel inflight. Lagoon 1 totally dry
