Indoor Meeting -The River Birds of Gwent Steph Tyler

Stephanie Joy Tyler MBE, also known as Steph Tyler, is a British ornithologist, zoologist, naturalist, conservationist, and author from Monmouthshire. She is particularly known for her work on Dippers and the preservation of river habitats.

Steph will talk about her studies of river birds on rivers in Gwent from Dippers and Grey Wagtails to Mandarins and Goosanders. She will concentrate on the River Monnow and other lower Wye tributaries and will mention the all river counts that were done in the winter and spring in covid and post covid years. And show that the former polluted coalfield river snow harbour healthy [populations of river birds.
