Coity Mountain

Main Sighting: Red Grouse
Only three grouse seen in windy conditions but ample evidence of presence from heaps of droppings. Count of 25 Skylarks, many singing.

Marshfield

Main Sighting: Parakeet sp
Early morning dog walk through very wet fields around Marshfield. 3 Little Egrets, 1 Kingfisher, 5 Snipe, 1 Peregrine, 3 Raven, snatch of Cetties. Also yesterday evening Parakeet sp over the house and landed in sycamore across the road. In silouette so not totally sure of species but called loudly and sounded very like the Ring Necked Parakeets I have seen often whilst working in London.

Main Sighting: Little Bunting
Just an update to let those know who haven't seen it yet, but the little bunting is still present and showing very well from the hide by the wardens office. From the first (original) hide, kingfisher and water rail seen.
