Main sighting: Curlew
Single curlew near Pandy, first sighting in my local patch for c.3 years. Not much else in a 3 mile walk, male Redstart, pair spotted flys, recently fledged pied&grey wags on the Honddu, reasonable swift numbers for the patch.

The red kite was being mobbed by a magpie between 11:00 & 12:00 today. It eventually flew off towards Llandegveth reservoir.

A walk this morning around the Deri and Rholben yielded 2 Cuckoos , plenty of Skylarks , Meadow Pipits & Stonechat on top of hills plus a single Yellowhammer , a Willow Warbler , a Tree Pipit , a pair of Raven & 3-4 Whinchat , In the woods at least 6 Pied Flycatcher , a Spotted Flycatcher , a pair of Redstart , loads of Nuthatch and a Wood Warbler . On the way down from the Rholben another pair of Redstart , a female Bullfinch and a Whitethroat
