Main sighting: Mystery bird
Last night I found myself awake at 3.am so decided to see if I could see any of the promised shooting stars shortly after I heard a bird calling I thought might be a wader suddenly a bird appeared from behind me over the house and flew towards the Severn away from me losing height. It appeared to have flat rounded wings and to be the size of a e.q. short eared owl or small heron I never managed to get my bins on it and it was gone will keep an eye out for what ever it was I never seen or heard it again in the next 30 mins
