Dusk visit: owl appeared at 16.30 hunting near the curved tram track. Another silhouetted hunting over the ridge to the west. Also of note: three Fieldfares that perched briefly in a lone bush and three Red Grouse.

9am visit. Dam – 31 tufted ducks and 1 great crested grebe. North side 1 male smew, lots of winter thrushes, Fieldfare, Redwing and mistle thrush. 1 male Bullfinch, 22 teal from hide.
Usual great tits, LTT, blue tits. 7 GBB gulls on far shore, 8 cormorant on floating platform with Heron. Pied wagtail.
