2 Spoonbills still present, 3 Common Sandpipers and 2 Curlew on Monk’s and large numbers of Lapwing, Blackwits, Redshank etc all sheltering in the lee of the big reedbed at the far end of Prior’s with the Spoonbills

Main sighting: Spoonbill

There were two Spoonbills on priors both sub adults also, Black-tailed Godwit 311 Dunlin 400 Knot 3 Little Egret 8 Mediterranean Gull 1 Kestrel 2 one caught a vole. Black-tailed Skimmer 6 Blue-tailed Damselfly 1 Gatekeeper 6 and Meadow Brown lots.

Pale undersided Red Kite seen quartering a field just cut for hay next to the M4 at this postcode. Also seen above my house same postcode on Easter Sunday and a fortnight previously (NP26 3BX) This was the first time I had seen a Red Kite in this location
